Collaborations In Communications, Inc., producers of award winning audio-video productions, was founded in 1985 by Joseph V. Hupcey Jr. He has over 40 years of experience in the field, having worked in both broadcast television as well as running in-house corporate facilities before starting his own company. In addition to being the Owner and President, Joe is the Producer and Director of most of the projects produced by Collaborations. Joe is also a Television Engineer, designing and building editing studios for corporations, television studios and educational institutions.

Maisey Hupcey, Joe's daughter, has joined the company as the director of marketing and a producer for CIC. In addition to the hands-on experience she had while working with her father, she also worked for years in Rome, Italy with an Emmy-award winning production house. Maisey is also a graphic designer who creates and maintains web sites.

Both father and daughter are very active in the community, participating in the Chamber of Commerce, the School Board and the Community Theater Group.

Mary Hupcey, Joe's wife works with them on many projects. She is also responsible for the development and recruiting work at our local grade school. She has been for the past 30 years the Executive Producer for our community summer theater group for teenagers: The Jerry Gibson Memorial Youth Summer Theatre. The group helps 50/60 teens develop their theatrical skills every summer.
To every project, the team brings their own special brand of creativity. And, as needed, they bring in other specialists to enrich their collaborations. Numbered among this cast of characters are animators, graphic designers, cinematographers, musicians, casting directors, make-up artists, still photographers, and other professionals trusted to deliver quality. Most of these collaborators have been part of the production team for more than a decade. And that good chemistry is where the concept for "Collaborations" originated.

Eileen Crowley-Horak was a founder of Collaborations 25 years ago. Eileen's portfolio is jam-packed with brochures, video programs, feature articles and special projects. Writer, producer and consultant, she's handled a broad spectrum of projects for clients who range from her former employer, Exxon, and other Fortune 500 companies. Eileen is currently working towards her doctorate degree.

Katherine Hause has worked with Joe and Eileen for over 30 years both at Exxon and with Collaborations both on-camera and off. She currently writes corporate communications such as scripts and newsletters. David Landau has been our cinematographer since the beginning. He is also our dialog writer. His own company, Murder To Go, produces corporate events such as teambuilding and product launches. His company also runs two inter-active mystery dinner theaters, a genre he invented 25 years ago. He is also currently a professor of video at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
